Technology is not the main component that sets our program apart. It is a tool that allows us to propel our students to a new level of learning, creativity, and collaboration. Rigorous curriculum choices, coupled with intensive assignments, separate our Magnet classes from our general or merit level. In the ELA department, William and Mary units are used to engage the high academic expectations while maintaining creativity through the use of iPads and collaboration. In the Social Studies classes, a wide range of available resources are used, moving from a standard curriculum of skills and information to an in-depth search for answers from history. This year (2014-2015) we will be adding a classroom cart of MacBook Pros for student use and development. We take pride in our program's resources, innovations, and implementations.
